Over Due Post

I know I say this every time but I PROMISE to be better at blogging from here on out! We are not the most exciting people in the world lets be honest & I am sorry about that. This post will actually have a few pictures and updates about Tyler, myself, and our little bun in the oven!
Life right now feels like it is running a million miles an hour!! Tyler is now in school full time at night and working full time during the day. I am still working full time as a secretary during the day and working part time at night from home for a dentist office. I don't see life slowing down anytime soon but I am excited for what's a head of us.

So Lets Start with Some Updates:

The Move:

We have been in our new place 5 weeks now & I feel so behind on it! Our walls are still bare for the most part and it doesn't feel that cute to me yet. I am struggling with decorating ideas I hope I figure them out soon! I love the amount of room we have though! I just have one last finishing touch on the baby's room and then I will take some pictures. For the rest of the house not sure when I will get those up but they will be coming!

Pregnancy:

I am just about 37 weeks now which to my surprise is "Full Term" I always thought it was at 38 weeks. Now that Tyler knows its 37 weeks he is more than anxious and is having a hard time waiting!

My pregnancy has been going great, I am still very much enjoying it but am starting to know what people have been telling me all along that there really comes a point where its not comfortable. I don't have too many of those days but they are starting to happen here and there.

I had my Dr's appointment yesterday and everything is still looking great. My swelling is out of control (You will be able to witness in the pictures below) but my blood pressure is nothing but excellent they say. My weight is not my best friend right now but the baby is growing exactly on track and his heart beat is more than perfect they say. I had my first examine yesterday to check if I was dilated. Right before he checked me he ask "Alright what are we hoping for a 2 maybe a 3?" I said "Actually a ZERO!" He looked at me and said "Wow I don't get that very often" I just looked at him and said "I am really just not ready for this baby to come!" He said I got a good portion of my wish... I was only dilated to a half of a centimeter! I was completely okay with that!
On the other hand Tyler was quite bummed out about it and was really hoping for a big number! He is more than ready for this baby to come! He is just watching me step by step waiting for any type of contractions or any sign of progression. He has been so fun through this! I really think this baby is going to be late though and I have just been planning on it since day one! I am pretty sure he is going to have to be forced out of there! So I am just planning on being induced one week after my due date!

I am not quite sure if this is what they call "Nesting" but right now I can't think about anything else but cleaning my house from top to bottom, hanging the rest of my decor on our bare walls, making sure everything is ready, Etc. but a little part of me knows it's nerves as well, once again I have let them get the best of me. I am truly not afraid of the pain of labor, the epidural, the recovery (unless I have a C-section) I guess it's the unknown I am worried about. Is this normal?

I guess all I want is a healthy baby! But who honestly doesn't? And of course for my self to be healthy. I asked Tyler last week if he would please give me a blessing once we reached the hospital and I was in actual labor. I think that's all I will need to make it through these uneasy and anxious feelings! I am so grateful for Tyler and for the husband and best friend he is to me! I really couldn't do this alone.

We are having more and more fun with this pregnancy day to day watching little feet or hands or knees or whatever it is stick out at us. I promise the excitement is in me like a wild fire I just need to get a few things done first! I can't wait to see what he looks like and hold him and just stare at him!

BABY SHOWER:

My very good friend Kilee and her Mom Aunt Shar threw me a baby shower last Saturday! Thank you to all who came! It meant the world to me and it was so good to see you!! When it comes to things like this Aunt Shar goes ALL OUT!! Her house looked amazing. We had the best food and the presentation was fabulous! These pictures don't do justice but I am sure you will agree with me after looking at the pictures or for those of you who attended! Her and Kilee worked so hard and I can't thank them enough! They have always been there for me and I have always felt like they are my second family! Thank you again for everything! I love you guys!!

We had such YUMMY food! I have actually been craving some of the dishes ever since & had to text Kilee for one of the recipes!

My friend Katie made me this darling car seat blanket. I have heard of people having them but never have actually seen one. It is darling and I can't wait to use it. Tyler thinks it's the coolest thing we have gotten. He thought Katie "Invented" it! I think he tried it in the stroller a few times and he just talked about it the rest of the night! Thanks Katie! This one was a hit in our house!

Little Beckem! He was the center of attention! Look how darling he is! I can't believe how big he is already!

2 Years & Counting...

I meant to get this up last Friday but with the move & all it totally slipped my mind.

I think looking back on your wedding day should be one of the best memories of all next to having children! I love Anniversaries and little special dates that bring back so many defined feelings. One day I will never forget the way I felt was the day I married my best friend! I thought I loved him so much that day, but can't believe how deep my love goes for him today! It's crazy how much your love grows for someone each and every day!
I LOVED being a bride. I loved everything about it from the flowers, to the cake, the shoes, all the way down to the dress (I wish I could have slept in mine!) If I could I would get married everyday just to feel the way I did on my wedding day!
"CHOOSE YOUR LOVE, LOVE YOUR CHOICE!"
I did just that!
I reflect on that day very often actually, day dreaming about all those little details of things that happened and my defined feelings that I never want to forget. Thank you for marrying me Tyler, I don't know where I would be with out you! I love you!

Warning: Pictures Galore!
(Sorry I couldn't get my slide show to work, I am very into "details" & loved the detailed moments of our wedding and just had to share!)

We are so lucky to have so much love & support!
Our first little greeter! Here he is asking me "Do you know you are my aunt now?"

I couldn't believe how many people were there for us this day! We are so blessed to have such great friends and family who love us!

Little moments I remember!

I LOVED my shoes but at this moment of a quick snapped picture of my shoes Ty was just about to carry me to our carriage ride because I just couldn't walk anymore! Beauty is pain sometimes but is ALWAYS worth wearing heels!!

Putting our feet up! I loved this little ride around the temple. I remember just looking at Ty as my husband finally and those feelings I felt!

All the hugs and kisses I got this day from Ty's Nephews

What a stud!!
THE DETAILS...
The Wedding of my Dreams!!

All the yummy food we didn't get to eat!

Soaking up the last minutes of this amazing day! I did not want to leave! Tyler was very eager and kept telling me "Lets get going!" All I kept saying was "Okay in just a min." I am just so thankful he is the person I get to go home to every night!

My Dad says this picture sums it up! BROKE!! He said it was well worth it though if that's what it took to get rid of me! He better be kidding!

It's Official

It is definitely official, today was my last time giving myself a pedicure. I could barely reach my feet! Once I was done my stomach was a little achy! Braxton was squirming the whole time! I don't think he appreciated me squishing him for that long!
I am not complaining at all though, this only means one thing, Salon Here I Come!!
It will be nice to be pampered for an hour or so a couple more times before Braxton comes and I can reach my feet again!

I know... They look like the fat girls feet on Shallow Hal right? So I tried to get the most appropriate picture of them! I have gotten quite the looks when people see them & I only know what they are thinking! SICK!! =) Ha ha! The sad thing is, in only a couple of more hours they will actually be bigger!! If you look close enough you can see the indent of my flip flop straps. Yep... I took them off about 3 hours ago. Yesterday I decided I am over the flip flop idea! Any one who knows me knows I only wear heels! I wore them up until the day my feet got stuck in them. So yesterday I decided needed to look a little cuter and feel a little better about my swollen body so I pushed on my "Red" high heels (no joke) and came to work. I decided to take them off first thing. BIG MISTAKE! Well when it came time for me to leave for lunch I could not get them back on so I had to leave without shoes on and run across the hot parking lot to my car. They still didn't fit by the time 5 O'clock rolled around! I am not giving up though! They will be back on before you know it!

29 Weeks Pregnant

( This was taken just a few weeks ago you tell tell we are both growing. My stomach is inching towards the table!)

I am getting this up a lot later than I thought and promised. Sorry for the delay.
Things are going really great! We are truly on the down slope of this adventure! Ty and I couldn't be more excited!
I had my Glucose screening about a week ago and I was so nervous. I will have to say for this one time & one time only I was actually grateful Tyler was Diabetic because he could test me frequently with his blood sugar testing kit, and he was more than happy to do it. My levels were great but of course I still worried! That morning I anxiously awaited to leave work and go to my Dr. appointment so we could just get it over with. They give you this bottle of Orange colored stuff to drink. For me I could barely get it down! I was dry heaving all the way there and was so nervous because they tell you if you don't keep it down you have to come back another day. So I was literally speeding to get there. If anyone was to ask me I will still reassure them that it really isn't that bad and it's no big deal. =) But for myself it was just a smell thing to me and we will have to take Orange soda off the list. Hopefully after I deliver the smell and taste won't bug me anymore!
Right as the numbers popped up on their testing meter I was told I had nothing to worry about. I was actually one of the lowest they had seen in a while so that was good news for me. After testing I met with the Dr. and he said my Blood pressure was excellent but he couldn't help but notice how swollen I looked when he first looked at me, especially my right foot. He told me he would like to send me in to get an ultra sound on my legs ASAP to check for blood clots. I wasn't too worried until the guy kept digging into my legs! Not the most pleasant ultra sound I have ever had but everything turned out to be great!
He told me that it was just the position of the baby and the heat. So I am just trying to watch my sodium intake and drink plenty of water so I can keep my blood pressure at a great level.
I am still Loving pregnancy more and more everyday. The other night I actually was a little down when the thought entered my mind I won't be pregnant for too much longer. I can't imagine not feeling this little guy everyday and the joy it brings me! So I am soaking up every sec I can. His movements are very well known now and just yesterday I truly felt a little foot poking out. Just makes me so curious to what he is going to look like!

Life for Ty and I is starting to pick up dramatically!! We have A LOT going on from here until Braxton's due date. We will be moving in just about 2 weeks. I am so anxious to get in and get settled!
I am so thankful that we are getting in before school starts so Ty can help me unpack. Every day I get more and more anxious to set up Braxtons room & decorate our little place. We just hope we get everything done in time. I know I know you are thinking you have two months but... Last month I started a new job that I do from home just in the evenings. It's going great & I couldn't be more grateful for it. My chances of staying home full time are getting greater and greater every day! But having my nights tied up right now makes it hard to get the things I need done but it will all work out. The baby won't know if something isn't completed right?
Ty is enjoying his time off from school right now. He has been such a trooper with going to summer school full time and working full time. I love him and am so grateful for all his hard work for our family. Other than that we are trying to live up the last of summer and soak up all the sun we can get. Summer goes by way too fast but we LOVE the fall and can't wait for it. We just dread the winter! It lasts way too long here in Utah!

Okay here it is..........
This is a very daring move for myself! This is why it is at the bottom. I have debated all day if I should put this up or not. So here it is the "Belly" Shot. This was taken just a few days ago by myself, I wanted to see for myself how BIG I really was!
(29 Weeks)

Camping at Moose Horn Lake

We had such a great time this weekend camping with my family. We had the best camping spot (thanks to my dad who called 6 Months in advance) The weather was perfect and we had a lot of time to sit back and relax! It was so good to get away! Our last morning there we spotted a moose eating across the lake.
We are hoping to make this a tradition from now on. Can't wait to go back next year! It will be even better because we will be able to take Braxton!

..........................................................................
Fishing....
Ty & my dad had such great luck the first day. It only took about 2 min. after casting that they were ready to reel in again and see what they caught.

..........................................................................
Our Hike to the Lake....
We ALL took turns carrying the little Munchkin!

...........................................................................
Soaking it all in...
Just enjoying the day and hanging out!
